| CALGARY, ALBERTA -- May 30, 2007 -- Berkley Resources Inc. ("Berkley" or the "Company") would like to clarify their news release dated May 24, 2007 where the Company stated that they believed that a possible resource potential of a minimum of 60 million barrels (40 API oil) is identifiable in this middle Devonian formation. This resource should be classified as a contingent resource. Contingent resources are those quantities of oil and gas estimated on a given date to be potentially recoverable from known accumulations but is not currently economic.
